Panzer Dragoon Saga

Panzer Dragoon Saga for Sega Saturn, PAL version. This is probably my favourite game of all time, it's certainly the game i've played through and completed the most times! From the artwork to the soundtrack, the story, the characters, naming your Dragon and watching your Dragon evolve, it is sublime from start to finish. I'm not going to start a debate here, but in my opinion Saga is every bit as good as the other 'big' RPGs of that time (FF7 and Ocarina).

I paid about the same, I had another copy that I sold on eBay, it went for £170. The price for mint copies is definitely going up overall. I remember when mint copies were selling for £90-£100 a few years ago.

yeah i remember that too, when i re-bought a Saturn in 2006 (i think), and started collecting all the rare RPGs for it, it was around that price, i also got Shining Force 3 mint for £45, now it goes for at least 70 lol.
my copy of PDS is in great condition, the first disc has some minor marks just from gameplay, but disc 2,3 & 4 are immaculate. i had to buy a reproduction outer case though as its hard to get it with them these days.

I still have a Model 1 Saturn, modded with 50/60Hz, USA/JAP/PAL switches and a mod chip to play backups. Saves a lot of money on those Japanese shoot 'em ups, Panzer Saga is the only game I still have, it's worth it just for the artwork and manual. I have previously bought and sold a lot of expensive games, but nowadays I will make a burn of a game rather than spend hundreds of pounds on eBay, because I'm not a collector any more. I would recommend Battle Garegga if you've not played it.

I knew of someone who was lucky enough to get this at a charity shop for £3 a few years ago, £1.50 per case as it didn't com in the slip cover so it was sold as two different games but hey, for £3 you really can't complain about a missing slip cover
