I always hated the fact that in the blood testing scene in The Thing they all used the same scalpel to get there blood sample, which would have caused contamination.

The thing is by far his best film, one of my favorite films of all time.

Well I fixed it up with most of his films. I would still like to say that Big Trouble in Little China was one of Carpenter's best as well.

Even after all this hoo-ha about what is and isn't included I have to say "Big Trouble" is my favorite anyway. It's all in the reflexes.

I love how in the action scene at the end, Kurt is knocked unconcious for half of it by himself.

I hated Vampires Something happened to Carpenter after the 80s it whatever it was it was bad.
I enjoyed Vampires a lot, I thought it was very cool and its really the only time you see James Woods as a badass. I think he performed it really well.

yeah, gotta say... James Woods all the way. I'm all over vampire films, and Carpenter's is my favorite "slayer" movie. The sequel, however, sucked sweaty balls.

I guess my vote for Vampires was more so a pity vote due to it's under appreciation... I'm in no way saying it's better than some of his other stuff.
