In the beginning of the movie, after Ash fights one Deadite, the spikes start to close in on him. Another Deadite pops out of the wall and attacks him. He climbs out just as the sspikes close, but the deadite appears a few scenes later climbing out as well. How could the Deadite climb out when he would be obviously crushed by the spikes?!
