Bruce Cambell reprises his role as Ash in the third
part of Sam Raimi's Evil Dead films, Army of Darkness. Ash, the
shotgun carrying, chainsaw toting store clerk from S-mart's
Housewares Division, is sent back in time to England 1300 AD.
Mistaken as an enemy by King Arthur, Ash must survive a few
challenges before eventually striking a deal with Arthur. Since
Wiseman John believes that Ash is the one spoken about in the
'Necronomicon' (Book of the Dead)'who is sent back to deliver them
from evil deadites,' Arthur wants Ash to retrieve the Book before
they will send him back to his own time. Ash is instructed that he
must say the three magic words correctly when retrieving the Book
otherwise he could accidentally release the Army of the Dead. True
to form, he screws up the magic saying releasing the Army of the
Dead and what follows is a battle between Ash and the forces of the
Dead lead by Evil Ash.
This
12" figure features an amazing likeness of Evil Ash. The head comes
with a fixed Skull helmet and rooted hair (similar to the London
After Midnight figure). The costume consists of a rib boned
breastplate, shoulder armor, elbow armor, forearm plates and evil
cape with skull clasps from the final battle sequence. The figure
will also come with a sword and scabbard, waist belt, cut up
Medieval shirt and trousers, wristwatch, hiking boots and a stone
textured display base. |
