At the time I got the game I didn't have my addiction for miniatures like I do now. But I did notice that the rulebook says at the end that they have made miniatures for the game. Eventualy I called the store that I got the game from and asked them if they could get the miniatures for me. Everything was way out of print so I could only get a few things, and they didn't include an ASH miniature. So I told the lady that I didn't want any of them unless I could get an ASH miniature, because what's the use. (it's like having a Terminator game without having a Terminator miniature) Later while my brother was hunting for Star Fleet Battles (S.F.B. aka So F**king Boaring) miniatures I forced him to ask about Army of Darkness miniatures. Some guy was able to get us some random miniatures, and at this time I just wanted what I could get. I got 2 different Deadite packs, Flying Demon pack, Arthur pack, Henry the Red pack, Book of the Dead pack, Pit People, and the Men-at-Arms pack. I had all but 3 important miniatures, Ash, Evil Ash, and The Death Mobile. I was able to get a hold of duplicates of a Deadite pack and the Flying Demon Pack. I still felt bad because I thought I could never get a hold of the 3 precious miniatures I needed because they would be popular and all ready purchased by others. Later on an Internet game supply store I was able to get a hold of a few other miniature packages that I didn't all ready have. Nothing special just a couple of Deadite packs. (Band and Siege) They also had The Deadite Champions Box Set, and Death to the Mortals Box Set, plus an unknown box set that seemed to have an appropriate number and was called Chainsaws and Shotguns. It sounded correct for Army of Darkness so I ordered it anyway. I assumed that the Death to the Mortals would be a pack of the mortal heroes, because you can quite kill the dead. Little did I know I was wrong. The Death to the Mortals Box Set was loaded with Deadites, but the Deadite Champion Box Set had and Evil Ash in it so I was supper happy. Then I was able to look at the Chainsaws and Shotgun Box Set and noticed that it had all the mortal heroes, so I had my Ash miniature. (YEAH!!.. SO HAPPY!!) At this point I was missing one miniature, (besides the knights which I am just going to use extra Men-at-Arms for) and didn't know what blister pack it came in. on accident I discovered the names to the majority (if not all) of the Army of Darkness items. I needed the Death Mobile Box Set. Yet again on accident my brother found another place on the Internet that had some Leading edge stuff. They had a Death Mobile Box Set. I ordered it as fast as possible. I received it on February 27, 1999. I feel complete now that I have my ALMOST entire set of Army of Darkness Miniatures, enough to play the game entirely with miniatures.
