Details: At the beginning of the film Ash drives through the bridge, which is clearly shown.
but later when he attempts to escape, the bridge is broken in half. the length of the bridge ( or whats left of it ) seems shorter. if the bridge wasn't broken, it would've clearly shown that it was shorter.
