August 09, 2002 - Steven Horn is still floating around the Mediterranean somewhere, so I'll be your pilot once again. This week, we continue with the Fast and the Furious glitches, and have some new ones from The Patriot, a funny one from Jurassic Park, and more Evil Dead.

Once again, here are the guidelines for submitting a glitch to us:

We need the time-stamp of the glitch if you do not submit your own image. We don't have time to watch all these movies and sift through the approximate locations some of you are giving. Also, if you do submit a screenshot (and please do), please submit an unaltered one with the dimensions of 440x267. Easy enough, huh?

How to address your e-mails: Make sure you put the word "glitch" and the title of the film in your e-mail subject line. We're having a hard time keeping track of all the correspondence. Address e-mail to both myself (Jeremy) and Steven. Once again, if you don't have the word "glitch" in your subject line and the movie title, your e-mail could get trashed.

REMINDER: Include the title of the film in the subject line of your e-mail as well as the word glitch. We are using a filtering program due to the volume of e-mail. Also, if you haven't seen your glitch yet, don't worry. We will eventually get to it! (for info on how to submit, scroll to the bottom...)

If you don't see your glitch right away don't worry. We have over 100 emails sitting in our "glitch" folder that we still have to go through - and it takes a while.

The Patriot - Car

This is a pretty common one with "period" films. As Benjamin Martin is riding away from his wife's sister's house during the day, you can see cars driving far into the distance. It's very hard to see in a still picture, but we've highlighted it for you so you can check it out on your copy.

"In Jurassic Park, as the raptors are trying to make their way into the Computer room, you can see the puppeteer in the reflection from the
glass through the open door. He's wearing quite a big utility belt! :)"

Evil Dead - Sam Raimi

"In The first Evil Dead, right at the beginning of the movie when the car is going toward the camera, across the wooden bridge, you can see Sam Raimi (the director) clearly standing beside the bridge on the right. He said that he never noticed himself in the shot until after and it was too late. I guess that Lens was a little TOO wide :)"

Evil Dead 2 - No Roof

"In Evil Dead 2, when the evil "force" is chasing Ash (Bruce Campbell's character) through the house, you can see that it is a set they built and they did not finish the ceiling so to hang lights and equipment needed for filming. This can be seen at some other points in the movie but most noticeably during the chase scene."
