In one scene, Ash finds some pages from the Necronomicon lying in a mud puddle. He picks up the pages, and they're dry, and not even a little dirty! |
Further down the passage, Ash notices some pages sitting on top of a ledge. You see weight shift from his right arm (where he attached the chainsaw) to his left, and reach for the papers with his right hand. |

There are 5 different colours of blood used throughout the movie. Ash always gets soaked by blood (either chopping Linda's head up, or hacking Henrietta to pieces), but always ends up dry in the next shot, or with very little blood soaking on his clothes. |

In this film, the flashbacks show Ash and his girlfriend being alone in the woods. In the first film, there was a group of them. But this is because Raimi wanted to remake the film as a kick in the teeth for the censors who cut and whined about the first Evil Dead, as well as other reasons. |

During the first scene where the 'evil force' is chasing Ash through the house, you can see above the rafters, showing that this is not actually the house but a set. [The original cabin used burned down years before the sequel was made. The new set was actually part of 'The Colour Purple' set.] |
During the scene when the evil Henrietta flies up from the basement to attack the girl, while she is in the air you can see the wire holding her up, a split in the butt of the latex costume. |
When the eye is flying toward Bobby Jo, you can see the rig holding the eye as it flies and the wire when it enters her mouth. Nice shot. |

There is a Freddy Kruger glove in the basement just before Ash goes into the pipe room to retrieve the pages. The reason was because of Wes Craven's use of 'The Evil Dead' in 'A Nightmare on Elm Street,' this was Raimi's way of settling the score. |
When Ash is yanking out of the cabin by the portal, you can see the rigging system to pull Ash to make him fly at the top of the shot, plain as day! |
