"This is the best I have ever seen this movie! Anchorbay did a really great job it the transfer, making it THX certified, and all the great extras that come along with it. I truly believe this is the best in the whole evil dead triology. A must have for any horror fan."

"The movie is a classic, combining horror humor in a perfect way. The extra's on this dvd are awesome. The documentary 'the gore, the merrier' contains never before seen scenes, nice anecdotes and even a mini-film by the special-effects team. The audio-commentary is one of the funniest around. Buy this now!"

"Anchor Bay's exquisite presentation of this deserves a round of applause from...well, pretty much everybody. An exceptionally good picture (free of grain, scratches and any other junk) presented in both 16x9 widescreen and full frame (to keep Grandma happy) and a fantastic 5.1 remix that has to be heard to be believed! A great 35-minute documentary with tons of behind-the-scenes footage, one of the best and funniest commentaries ever made, with the cool trailer, stills galleries and THX Optimode (to make sure your TV set and sound system are peachy), it's a steal at twice the price."

"Outstanding!!! Once again Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell show us how it's done. If you're not screaming, you're laughing, or screaming with laughter! "
