<Booey> Hello folks!
<ChatMod> <CarolG> to <ChatMod>: I noticed that in
"Terminal Invasion" your character was a bit more stoic
than what I usually see you in? Usually you play
roguish type characters that are well, smartasses. Do
you find you gravitate towards these roles, or do you
feel you've been typecast a bit in this respect?

<Booey> Well, you have to match the material.
<Booey> If it's straight, like "Invasion," you have to
tone it down.
<Booey> No winking allowed.

<ChatMod> <OutlawTorn> to <ChatMod>: Bruce, loved the
book, thanks for the autograph in Vegas. I really liked
your writing style and was wondering if you would be
incorporating it into any kind of fictional novel.

<Booey> I have another book due next fall that's called
"Make Love the Bruce Campbell Way."
<Booey> It's not quite a novel, but I'm taking baby
steps...

<ChatMod> BCE0019> to <ChatMod>: Hey Bruce, how do you
like working in videogames? I have Tachyon: The Fringe,
and I thought is was pretty cool. Would you ever be in
another game?

<Booey> Sure. It's the way of the future.
<Booey> Video games are becoming like movies and mvies are
becoming like video games.
<Booey> Might as well jump on board.

<ChatMod> <Edsynth> to <ChatMod>: I realize that there are
no plans for another Evil Dead movie, but with the Evil
Dead fanbase growing stedily year after year, do you
think it's possible that the demand for another Evil
Dead film will ever grow to the point where it may be
concidered?

<Booey> Ahh, the age old question...
<Booey> It's really economics. The Evil Dead flicks made
some $, but not huge amounts.
<Booey> It will take Sam Raimi some time to do the next
Spidey, flick, so we'll see...
<Booey> ga

<ChatMod> <HumanityPlague> to <ChatMod>: Hello Bruce, I
know from the IMDB that you're going to be in Spiderman
2, is it going to be another cameo like in Spiderman?
Cause I think if Spiderman 3 ever comes around, you
could make one hell of "the Lizard" or Dr. Curt Conners

<Booey> I think I'll be in it, but I haven't been told
what my role is yet. It kind of works that way with Sam.
<Booey> ga

<ChatMod> <Kraftwerk> to <ChatMod>: Bruce. I saw a teaser
for the next James Bond movie and said to my girlfriend
that you would make a cool James Bond. I think you have
the look for it. Could you see yourself as 007?

<Booey> Sorry, but Jimmy is a little out of my league.
Pierce is holding his own just fine...
<Booey> ga

<ChatMod> <KatrynSedai> to <ChatMod>: Bruce, thx for
chatting with us tonight! We know you're on a book
signing tour right now. Do you have any plans to hit
the convention circuit in the near future?

<Booey> I'll be in 25 cities. Check my site to see a full
list as we know it...
<Booey> ga
<Booey> www.bruce-campbell.com

<ChatMod> <Deaft0ne> to <ChatMod>: I have a question, ask
this plz: Bruce, what was the experience like when you
guest starred in the Homicide: Life on the Street 2
parter? I thought that was one of your best performances
that I have seen.

<Booey> tpe the hyphen, or you'll get Dodge Dealership in
Michigan...

<ChatMod> GA is for Go Ahead
<Booey> It was really a rare treat. I got to "pitch" that
story to the producer, and he accepted!
<Booey> ga

<ChatMod> <ekalb13> to <ChatMod>: Bruce have you ever
thought about reviving Brisco Country Jr.??? It's one
of the best

<Booey> TV shows, FYI, age like fish!
<Booey> It's on video through Columbia House.com
<Booey> ga

<ChatMod> <manysparrows> to <ChatMod>: Hi Bruce, I'm
writing from Dayton, Ohio ,not far from from Caesar's
Ford ampitheater in Xenia where you recently starred in
a production of "Shane". Unfortunately, I missed it but
I wonder, do you enjoy the quirks and imperfections of
live acting and would you like to do more stage acting
in the future?

<Booey> Shane was really cool, because it was like going
back to actor boot camp.
DVD release?
<Booey> A stage actor can't call "cut." He has to do it
for real, one time, no pauses, no screwups.
<Booey> Ouch!
<Booey> ga

<ChatMod> <drgorman> to <ChatMod>: Bruce, is there any
movie that you wish you just erase off your resume?

<Booey> No. Each decision was a good one at that time.
<Booey> There are plenty of stinkers I've done, but you
don't always know that right off the bat.
<Booey> ga.
<Booey> No regrets...
<Booey> Hell no. She's too smart to put herself through
that!
<Booey> ga

<ChatMod> OutlawTorn> to <ChatMod>: Bruce, I caught Bubba
Ho-Tep at the CineVegas Film Festival. Freakin'
brilliant. When are we getting a DVD release?

<Booey> Bubba will hopefully be coming out within the next
6 months to a year.
<Booey> That's the pisser about truly independent films.
They don't
<Booey> always have a place to go when they're done...
<Booey> ga

<ChatMod> <Raspody> to <ChatMod>: what was it like when
you first started acting? was it hard and what should
others getting into the " Bizz" expect

<Booey> Acting was always fun, but it isn't always easy.
<Booey> Those of you who think it's all limosines and
you-know-what
<Booey> are kidding yourselves.
<Booey> ga
<Booey> Don't be lazy...

<ChatMod> <CarolG> to <ChatMod>: You mentioned you're
working on a wider distribution for "Running Time" when
I saw you at the Flashback Weekend in Chicago. Will
that movie be getting more show time sometime soon
(hopefully)?

<Booey> Running Time will hopefully grow on DVD. It's a
cool film,
<Booey> but for some reason, it hasn't caught fire.
<Booey> I highly recommend it!
<Booey> ga

<ChatMod> <bbaumunk22> to <ChatMod>: I laughed myself onto
the floor when i read in your book what you did to your
friend Goodman with the car. Did he ever get you back?

<Booey> Thankfully, no, but Goodman is plotting even as we
speak.
<Booey> I just know it...
<Booey> ga

<ChatMod> <suave4> to <ChatMod>: what was it like working
on Serving Sara with Matthew Perry and Elizabeth Hurly?

<Booey> Serving Sara was a disappointment.
<Booey> It was fun to make, but the finished film wasn't
what I had in mind...
<Booey> Read any review and they'll agree...
<Booey> Another reason why B movies aren't
<Booey> Necessarily bad and A movies
<Booey> aren't necessarily good.
<Booey> ga

<ChatMod> <bbaumunk22> to <ChatMod>: Real lame question
here from a fellow Michigander. Michigan or Michigan
State?

<Booey> U of M for sure
<Booey> ga

<ChatMod> <evilashisdead> to <ChatMod>: question, how did
you get that scar on your chin

<Booey> I got from a swing to the face when I was a wee
lad.
<Booey> ga

<ChatMod> <Jwestern> to <ChatMod>: Bruce, are you still
going to direct "The Night Man" or do you have any other
directing projects in the future?

<Booey> That was just IMBD misinformation.
<Booey> No set directing projects right now.
<Booey> I love IMBD, but they are 85% accurate.
<Booey> ga

<ChatMod> <Rejolter> to <ChatMod>: Dude, Bruce, are the
Raimi bros really like what the introduction to your
book made them seem like?

<Booey> The Raimi bros are a whacky pair as you might
imagine.
<Booey> But they are bold enough to trash themselves in
print.
<Booey> ga

<ChatMod> <Azn> to <ChatMod>: We had a chat with Stuart
Devenie (Gov. Croque) and he mentioned that you have
made a "Jack of All Trades" blooper reel. Any chances
we might have a copy of it?

<Booey> The "Jack" blooper reel is in safe hands, but
<Booey> I have no doubt that it will be on the internet
one day.
<Booey> ga

<ChatMod> <Crow550> to <ChatMod>: Bruce what actor would
you want to work with the most?

<Booey> I don't fantasize about that, because most of my
faves are dead...
<Booey> Bigart, Holden, Tracy, etc.
<Booey> ga
<Booey> "Bogart...sorry Bogie...
<Booey> I used to work there.

<ChatMod> <Crow550> to <ChatMod>: Bruce what actor would
you want to work with the most?
<ChatMod> <bbaumunk22> to <ChatMod>: I watched Intruder
for the first time a couple days ago and i noticed the
name of the grocery store is the Walnut Lake Grocery.
Isn't that a real area down in Detoit?

<Booey> It's a small market in suburban Detroit.
<Booey> ga

<ChatMod> <Edsynth> to <ChatMod>: when (or if) you get
free time for yourself, what do you like to do?

<Booey> I hike and walk and clear brush.
<Booey> ga

<ChatMod> <TwilDragon> to <ChatMod>: When was Terminal
Invasion made?

<Booey> It was made in the Spring of this year. Is that
okay with you?
<Booey> ga

<ChatMod> <suave4> to <ChatMod>: did you enjoy being a bad
guy on last seasons finale of Charmed?

<Booey> I like playing bad guys because you don't have to
conform to all the
<Booey> hero rules.
<Booey> It was also fun to hang around my pal Alyssa
Milano.
<Booey> ga

<ChatMod> <Crow550> to <ChatMod>: When does chins across
america come out?

<Booey> The paperback is out right now, Skippy.
<Booey> Go to Amazon, or come visit me on the road.
<Booey> I'm on tour until mid-November.
<Booey> ga

<ChatMod> <a> to <ChatMod>: How much of acting is 'who you
know', 'political', and or 'skill' or 'love for the
craft'??

<Booey> Acting is a long process that includes
<Booey> dedication, resiliance,
<Booey> an attention span,
<Booey> and the ability to adapt. Any of the "Hollywood"
<Booey> stuff is BS.
<Booey> ga

<ChatMod> <PenPenSama> to <ChatMod>: Which of your
numorous ingenious one-liners is your favorite?

<Booey> Gee, that's a tough one.
<Booey> I kond of like "Swallow this" from ED II.
<Booey> I also like "Gimme some sugar, baby" from "Army."
<Booey> ga
<Booey> "kind"

<ChatMod> <drgorman> to <ChatMod>: Bruce, who's idea was
it to attach a chainsaw to your hand?

<Booey> That was Mr. Sam "let's torment Bruce" Raimi
<Booey> ga
<Booey> Most of them are scripted, when Sam is involved...
<Booey> but other shows, like "Jack of all Trades"
<Booey> were a higher count of actor input.
<Booey> ga

<ChatMod> <CarolG> to <ChatMod>: Speaking of your
one-liners, how much of your lines are ad-libbed (they
seem so off the cuff and spontaneous most of the time)?

<ChatMod> <drgorman> to <ChatMod>: Bruce, what is the
question that you hear most of from a fan?

<Booey> Will there be an Evil Dead 4?
<Booey> ga

<ChatMod> <LarryMalone> to <ChatMod>: Bruce, many of us
fans met because of you. I have had full on discussions
about you with strangers I never met and I consider them
friends like, Outlaw Torn, Raspody, and more. How do you
feel that you know you have made people able to enjoy
and share experiences from your flicks with each other
across the globe?

<Booey> Happy to help improve the relations of all
mankind...
<Booey> ga

<ChatMod> <Rejolter> to <ChatMod>: Bruce, are you,
yourself, a fan of B movies. I mean, do you like to sit
down with some pop corn and watch them?

<Booey> I like any films that are sincere attempts to
entertain. Period.
<Booey> ga

<ChatMod> <EvilDeadCrazy> to <ChatMod>: what kind music
you like

<Booey> I like "Old ass" music.
<Booey> Like Sinatra (pre-1965)
<Booey> Or Dean Martin.
<Booey> I like crooners. Got a problem with that?
<Booey> ga

<ChatMod> <FolkstonGirl> to <ChatMod>: What are some of
the films that inspired you to become an actor?

<Booey> Check out "Bridge on the River Kwai"
<Booey> and "Sound of Music." I'm not kidding.
<Booey> ga

<ChatMod> PunkOMama> to <ChatMod>: Hey Bruce! How did you
come up w/ that nickname...Booey? :

<Booey> My dear Mother used to call me that. Sheesh.
<Booey> ga

<ChatMod> <kc> to <ChatMod>: Bruce, you must read a lot of
scripts, what scripts have you read that made you go "Oh
Wow, I cant wait to film that one."

<Booey> The scripts that are financed and ready to go -
about 1%
<Booey> of what I read...
<Booey> ga

<ChatMod> <evilashisdead> to <ChatMod>: why did they
shortened you name ash from ashley?

<Booey> Because Ashly is just too insipid.
<Booey> Ash is bad enough...
<Booey> ga

<ChatMod> <bbaumunk22> to <ChatMod>: Do you perfer being
behind the lens or in front of it

<Booey> I like both gigs.
<Booey> It's cool to kick back behind the camera and make
some other
<Booey> actor suffer!
<Booey> ga

<ChatMod> <DaFonz> to <ChatMod>: Bruce i have to audition
for a good acting school soon, possibly juiliard or NYU,
do you know of any good monologues that would do the
trick?

<Booey> No. Write your own.
<Booey> That way, you'll really be able to understand what
<Booey> you're saying. Try it - you'll like it.
<Booey> ga

<ChatMod> <Azn> to <ChatMod>: How did you feel wearing
that..."suit" in Spider-Man?

<Booey> The suit was cool.
<Booey> Nuff said. Vegas all the way, with a dash of Wayne
Newton.
<Booey> ga

<ChatMod> <Dementia1313> to <ChatMod>: What is the most
memorable item you've ever received from a fan?

<Booey> Poetry that made my hair curl.
<Booey> ga

<ChatMod> <HailtotheKing> to <ChatMod>: In Termenal
Invation, you are wearing blue shirt, brown pants...was
that an inside joke to the ED films?

<Booey> Sorry, no. Blue and brown are just useful colors.
<Booey> ga

<ChatMod> <Sammo> to <ChatMod>: Have you ever done a scene
in a movie that was so good, after you saw it for the
first time it blew you away?

<Booey> That's a bit presumptuous, don't you think?
<Booey> I let the paying customers decide what's good and
what sucks.
<Booey> ga

<Booey> I'm back!
<Booey> Sorry...

<ChatMod> LarryMalone> to <ChatMod>: Bruce, Does your
book have any subliminal messages? The Outlaw Torn and I
both shaved our heads into mohawks and became taxi
drivers after we read it

<Booey> No messages. You are fools.
<Booey> ga

<ChatMod> <Dementia1313> to <ChatMod>: The humor in Jack
of All Trades was pretty randy. How much did the
writers get censored?

<Booey> No, but close.
<Booey> They did push the envelope with the "ride the pink
tobogan" thing...
<Booey> ga

<ChatMod> <DaFonz> to <ChatMod>: Now that your super
famous, do fans ever make you feel like how you must
have made charlton heston feel...

<Booey> Sure, at every convention.
<Booey> There are folks that have met me 3 times and I
don't
<Booey> remember them from Adam.
<Booey> To them all I say I'm sorry!
<Booey> ga

<ChatMod> <Guy-Alpha> to <ChatMod>: Mr. Campbell, being an
actor yourself, what kind of advice would you give to an
18 year old with a burning passion to become a
filmmaker/actor?

<Booey> Sure - read my book!
<Booey> ga
your favorite movie?
<Booey> And don't copy...

<ChatMod> <Hesh> to <ChatMod>: What is your Favorite Kind
of Pie?

<Booey> Lead, don't follow...
<Booey> My fave pie is Key Lime and
<Booey> pECAN.
<Booey> GA
<Booey> Pecan...
<Booey> Damn Caps lock...
<Booey> Heck yeah.

<ChatMod> Do you feel people sometimes get the movie you
and the real life you confused?

<Booey> That's why we need to know the difference
<Booey> between reality and fantasy, eh?
<Booey> ga

<ChatMod> <HailtotheKing> to <ChatMod>: Hey Bruce, I'm the
guy making the ED tribute film, which is non-profit by
the by. My question is, when you made those Super8
films, what did you learn from them??

<Booey> Just everything, that's all...
<Booey> How to block a scene...
<Booey> How to shoot a scene...
<Booey> How to act a scene...
<Booey> How to edit a scene...
<Booey> There are lots of choices in every case.
<Booey> ga

<ChatMod> What is the most tedious part of being on a set?
<Booey> Waiting for the lighting to be finished.
<Booey> ga

<ChatMod> <suave4> to <ChatMod>: What do you consider the
funniest thing that NEVER got to the Big or Small
Screen?

<Booey> Most likely a TV pilot called Missing Links.
<Booey> C'est la vie!
<Booey> ga

<ChatMod> <Guy-Alpha> to <ChatMod>: Do you have anything
to do with the new Evil Dead game announced for the PS2
in 2003, Fistfull of Boomstick?

<Booey> Sure. I did the voice and checked out the new
layout.
<Booey> I think you'll like it a lot more than the 1st go
around.
<Booey> It's more up to speed.
<Booey> ga

<ChatMod> <weezay> to <ChatMod>: What do you perfer,
television or the movies?

<Booey> I like the speed of TV, but the detail of film.
<Booey> I wouldn't like to do either for an extended
period.
<Booey> ga

<ChatMod> if you didn't become an actor what would you
have liked to have done?

<Booey> A forest ranger!
<Booey> ga

<ChatMod> <Guy-Alpha> to <ChatMod>: How long did it take
you to write "If Chins Could Kill"?

<Booey> 4 years, because I was working all that time.
<Booey> I knew how the book would end, but I had to get it
on paper.
<Booey> ga

<ChatMod> TwilDragon> to <ChatMod>: Why a forest ranger?
<Booey> I wrote inbetween.
<Booey> Because I happen to like those silly little trees.
They smell good.
<Booey> ga
<Booey> My folks were cool with it.

<ChatMod> How did you parents react to the chapters about
your childhood and teen years - especially when they
discovered you "streaked"?

<Booey> Midwest parents wouldn't even mention things that
they hate to thier children.
<Booey> ga

<ChatMod> <Crassboy> to <ChatMod>: how did u meet sam
raimi?

<Booey> I met Sam in High School drama class.
<Booey> He was one wired bird in 1975.
<Booey> I saw him in Jr. High.
<Booey> He was dressed like Sherlock Holmes...
<Booey> and he played with dolls.
<Booey> He was a freak!
<Booey> ga
<Booey> Sorry, "wierd"

<ChatMod> <Ambious> to <ChatMod>: Bruce, hey, Elad from
Israel here. I saw your preformence on The X-Files and I
think it's your best yet - You should TOTALLY explore
more Drama. Do you have any plans to do more Drama in
the future?

<Booey> Drama is cool, but it doesn't always come my way.
<Booey> I try and make the best out of what comes down the
pike.
<Booey> ga

<ChatMod> <LarryMalone> to <ChatMod>: Bruce, Batman's real name is Bruce Wayne (Adam West like DRE!) and Bruce Lee is super cool. Why are all
Bruces cool?

<Booey> It's just a Bruce thing, I guess.
<Booey> ga
<Booey> Cool is as cool does.

<ChatMod> <JesseWatts> to <ChatMod>: Bruce, how did you
get the job on Escape From L.A.?

<Booey> I got that gig because they wrote something for
me. It was very
<Booey> nice of John Carpenter to do that.
<Booey> ga

<ChatMod> <lejes> to <ChatMod>: What is the funniest
practical joke on a set you did, or were victim of?

<Booey> I was duped during ED 1
<Booey> I had smoked "reefer,"
<Booey> thinking that my day was done.
<Booey> and Sam Raimi thought it would be funny
<Booey> to make me think that I had one last scene to
shoot.
<Booey> while I was "somewhat otherworldly."
<Booey> Sam is cruel.
<Booey> ga

<ChatMod> What are you working on now? What projects are
coming up we can look forward to?

<Booey> I'm writing my new book and waiting
<Booey> for Bubba Hotep to hit the big and/or little
screen.
<Booey> ga

<ChatMod> <batgirl> to <ChatMod>: To what do you credit
your sardonic wit ? - your Midwest upbringing

<Booey> I think, yes. We midwesterners are a skeptical and
somewhat
<Booey> cynical breed. It's healthy as long as it doesn't
get out
<Booey> of hand.
<Booey> I wish more folks had more of it in them...=)
<Booey> ga
<Booey> Thanks to all of you for hanging out. Feel free to
torment me in person at a city near you.
<Booey> Thanks for the support!
<Booey> Best to ya!
<Booey> Bruce...
<Booey> ga

<ChatMod> Bruce it was a pleasure thanks for coming
<Booey> Thankuverymuuuuch...(as Elvis)
<ChatMod> And thanks for the hundreds of questions
everybody!

<Booey> I'll hang for 2 minutes!

<ChatMod> Okay a quick follow up
<ChatMod> JimSCSU> to <ChatMod>: is there a point when you
are going to call it quits or are you acting to the
end?

<Booey> Sure, but I wised up.
<Booey> Acting is my deal.
<Booey> ga

<ChatMod> <Boomstick> to <ChatMod>: Are you going to make
any appearances on Tv soon?

<Booey> I hope not. TV is a bugger, man.
<Booey> I'll be around. Stay tuned and good night!
<Booey> ga

<ChatMod> <drgorman> to <ChatMod>: Bruce, what is the news
on Hatred of a Minute?

<ChatMod> I think Bruce lost his connect
