If you've done as much "Evil Dead Surfing" as I have, you're aware of the silly question "Is EVIL DEAD II a sequel or a re-make?"
My response to this is simple... You're gonna have to actually watch them this time!
I'll justify this sarcasm...

The closing scene of THE EVIL DEAD features The Evil crashing through The Cabin and rushing Ash.
The credits roll with Ash's scream of defeat (EVILEND.WAV - 63KB).

This same scene (redeveloped for copyright reasons) occurs fifteen minutes into EVIL DEAD II, only this time the rush doesn't cease with Ash's scream.
The Evil runs Ash through with enough force to send him reeling through the woods and finally lets him go; hurtling into a tree.
You gotta figure this guy's part deer taking a whollup like that & jumping up to run away!
Generally folks, when you see the end of a movie towards the beginning of PART 2, this is a good indicator THE STORY CONTINUES!
