CB Studios AoD Ash cosplay. *WIP*
This is my WIP for my Army of Darkness Medieval Ash cosplay. The shirt is 100% custom dyed Cotton Linen, and in my opinion is very close to the original shirt. I used many different reference pictures to work out the shirt's construction, including accurate placement of the shield front, the lower front seam, the (Almost always) hidden front lacing system and the toggle attachments. My toggle system isn't 100% accurate due to parts limitations but It's very close. One of the most helpful shots in the film is in the "building the deathcoaster" scenes, in which one of the top toggles on the shield front is unbuttoned. This shows the front lacing system that for the most part is completely hidden. The Cape I used is a fairly close fabric, actually an Ikea "GURLI" blanket in grey. for the moment I'm using one of my Bump in the Night latex casts, and one of my pewter AOD brooches.
