Hi everyone I made an evil dead cabin model a few years ago but it only had one room, so I thought that I would revisit it and add the extra rooms and furniture plus a few other things and eventually make it in to a diorama (inspired by the cabins on Book of the dead).
To make it even more challenging as if it wasnt already not only did I try printing it with the furniture inside but I printed it the smallest I could, as a result some furniture didn't print as it was way too small buy a lot of it did and this is the result so far. It's still a work in progress but I couldn't wait to show it off, I used most references from Ash vs evil dead for layouts and interior detailing, but also looked at cabin images from Robs book of the dead page, so this is making its debut here first.
Hope you all like it so far

That's great, reminds me of an airfix kit! I've held off getting a 3D printer due to the quality as compared to just making something physically with your hands, but this does look good!

Thanks Drac, resin printers are getting really affordable now, worth looking In to but can messy and resin can be expensive, but the results make up for it

Thanks Rob Haha yeah funny you should say that, the first cabin that I made had an airfix box art style with the evil dead cabin picture, wish they would make airfix style model movie kits.EvilDeadChainsaws wrote: ↑Sat Jun 06, 2020 9:08 am That's great, reminds me of an airfix kit! Yeah there's nothing like physically making something with your hands from scratch, this project will be a bit of both, I'll make the base and scenery by hand and paint then the rest 3D modeled, one benefit with having the 3d model it's easy to rescale and just knock off a few more, saves a bit of time.
