New Member Introductions

Post by EvilDeadChainsaws »

Hi all, as the creator of this forum, I thought I'd add an introductions page so people can post who they are, and particularly if they're affiliated with anything Evil Dead related people might know, or run a business making replicas people might want to buy, or even have interesting Evil Dead experiences, so to start off!

I'm Rob from the London/UK, and I run both BookOfTheDead.ws,EvilDeadChainsaws.com (no longer open) and Super8Shorts.com, as well as having an Online Portfolio detailing all the fanmade DVD/Blu-ray, soundtrack, website design, and graphic design pieces I've done over the years.

I have a fair Evil Dead physical item collection, but some way off a few people on here, and nothing hugely rare, although I have made a number of one-off replica props. Most of my fantastically rarest stuff lies in the video material I've accumulated, including nearly 4 hours of raw The Evil Dead film footage, and all 8-1/2 hours of Greg Nicotero's behind the scenes Evil Dead II camcorder footage, along with the rare Mexican TV version of Evil Dead II.

I went to the US and visited a number of The Evil Dead & Evil Dead II filming locations in 2012. I've made a number of short films, including an Evil Dead project, and an Evil Dead Documentary. Most recently I self-published a book in 2019 about various Evil Dead related projects I've done over the years.

This is a great idea, and thanks for setting us up with this damn fine forum!

I'm Curt, I'm one of the curly admin team from the Facebook group. If you're on there you know I'm the Aussie one who does a lot of drunk live streams. I'm a sculptor, prop maker and cosplayer. You've likely seen my necronomicon cover sculpt, KOS rings in both resin and pewter and my Army of Darkness cloak brooch. Other cosplay stuff you may have seen from me is my AvsED Ash cosplay, Jacksonville Ash, Evil Ash from AOD and my AOD hero Ash shirt.

I hope we get this forum super active, keen to see a bunch of familiar faces on here.

Hi everyone, wow :o great new home for the KOS posse :D thanks Rob for hosting and setting it up along with Al, Bob and Curt.

I'm Gavin from the Uk, Iv'e been with the KOS since Day 1 after Al got in touch with me about a certain pendant 🔎 :D

I'm an amateur designer and 3D printing person plus other stuff, ill try my hand at anything

I started getting involved with 3D printers and CAD just over 3yrs ago and I'm slowly getting better, it's just a hobby and not my full time job.

Previous to the original KOS group getting shut down I seemed to have lost all motivation to make or post anything evil dead, but with the news yesterday that the OG group came back and now this cool forum it's got the juices flowing again

Thanks everyone look forward to seeing your posts
