A few pictures from my Army of Darkness cloak brooch project. This was an interestingly tough project to do, mainly due to a lack of reference. Since completion of this project, a supposedly screen used brooch has shown up on display, so at some stage a V3 may be done in the future. This project was a collaboration with Al, using different scaling techniques and breakdowns of reference. The whole brooch was sculpted in plasticine, given an aged texture and moulded in 25shore silicone to cast resin copies. One of those resin copies was then moulded in High-temperature resistant silicone, and that mould was used to create pewter casts, which were then polished and aged.
