Knights of Sumeria Ring Project

The Knights of Sumeria ring is one of those great things we had introduced in Season 3 of Ash Vs Evil Dead. I immediately decided I wanted one, by hook or by crook. Brett owns a ladies sized one, but the Male sized one is the one to have. After acquiring a stunt one from a fellow collector, Al sent me a bulked out casting in resin. The stunt ring (Shown below) has an accurate and full size ring cap, but the shank and band are hastily made, with poor detailing. The upside is that its a resin ring, with a cast in metal ring for structure and its also metal plated.
Once I got my resin casting, I took to a belt sander to rough down the size and shape to match what I needed, then using layers of primer and scribers made from engraving burrs, I carved in all the details.
Compared to a hero Dalton KOS ring owned by Emmanuele.
Then Moulded again, and I created a cold cast ring with an Aluminum finish.
Next up I moulded my masters once again, in a high-temperature resistant silicone (M4470 from barnes, 60D shore hardness, so I could start producing Pewter ones. Easy casts had some slight pitting, but practice and refining has solved all of my issues. Thats a super fucking truncated version of how I built the metal KOS rings
