Its about that time of the season and I wanted to start off with asking this question, Do you guys think that Die Hard 1 & 2 and Lethal weapon are Christmas movies. I believe they are even though they are action movies. If you really think about them you can see what I mean. Where I'm from I have people disagreeing with me every step of the way on this subject. There are so many Christmas references in these movie that I believe and my family believes that they are Christmas films.

I'd Say no, the fatc it set a christmas isnt really part of the story, its just it hapopenms to take place then. Movie slike "black xmas" or "silent Night, deadly night" are as the fact it set at christmas is integral to the plot.

I would also have to say no. Christmas isn't really much in the Die Hards except for to have a reason to bring the family together or a ton of people together in an airport....

A hell of a lot of the first Die Hard is christmas related but thats not to say it is christmas movie just an action movie set on christmas.

I say yes. Mainly Because my Xmas Eve prep starts with "Die Hard" then "It's A Wonderful Life" followed by "Reindeer Games". Xmas Day is "Jingle All The Way", "Scrooged" and "Bad Santa".

I don't give a hoohah that people hate Reindeer Games (Deception in UK) - It is friggin awesome!

well back to the topic, know what would have been cool if John McClain teamed with Riggs & Murtaugh when he was L.A.P.D. between Die Hard 1 & 2.I've actually written a story about that going to try and turn it into a short film.
