Not the title by the way

Untitled Evil Dead Fan Film

A group of 4 film students from Oregon pack up they're gear and head to what’s left of the cabin to uncover the real mystery behind the massacres that happened many years ago, they find nothing left of the cabin (locals said it burnt down), they find a few pages, the tape player and the remains of the dagger, they play the tape (duh) and the demons start to hunt, but since they're only protection is they're tents (they're car is on the other side of the destroyed bridge) and a few large lights the surround the perimeter.

The whole thing is being filmed like Cloverfield, with one camera and no cinematics, there is very little comedy and lots of blood and gore, there will also be a fair amount of Visual Effects (for example you can see the Candarian Demons through the camera).

I’m trying to make this about 30 minutes in length or more, but I need help so PLEAE give me ideas for things you want to see in the flick (No night vision please), and if you come up with a good name for the flick and I use it you get an Associate Producers credit!

Just an idea. But what if you make it 4 film students who are studying Sam Raimi and try to locate the cabin (like so many do) only to find out the story in the film was real. That way you can get away with as many references as you wish.

I think that is an original idea... maybe?

As for a title? I really like "The Ultimate Experience in Grueling Home Video Terror" It doesn't slip off the tongue but it's a decent homage name.

Good luck.

i would give the lights a signifigance, like it scares the demons away. this is just so that the four students aren't immediently raped. also i would say this feels more like a blair witch project then a cloverfield. and as for the title you need something that is both short and intriging to your audience , something that makes them wonder. "they live" is a good one, so is "death by zombification"

PS: please ignore the many mistakes in spelling error, i don't feel like double checking everything through a google search

"The Blair Witch Project" isn't really a short title. Also some advice on the spelling; type your post in Word and then hit spell check, that way you don't need to google search every word... that's what I do sometimes, just so I can double check my typos.

the official title is 'Diary of the Evil Dead'

since this is a fanfilm I can get away with ripping off other movie titles (Diary of the Dead).

also Knobey's diary is featured in this film as well as a few other things.

I still would like ideas for this flick

i think a more original title would be best, and i was comparing blair witch in its filming style, not its title

I actually meant as in "A burned down cabin, with burned down memories... all that is left... is ash."

You know.
