I've made a screen capture comparison here - AoD HD-DVD TC v R2UK TC v R3HK DC.

I also uploaded just the images in a 7z archive. Feel free to do with them whatever you want, eg use them in an article on Deadites or whatever.

I've upscaled the DVD grabs to the HD-DVD's native resolution to make it a fair comparison.

Wow, I'll definitely be grabbing a copy of this as soon as I upgrade to an HDTV next year. Heh, check out photo#6, who knew Bruce had so many fillings?!

The HD-DVD isn't as amazing as most present day movies, but it is an experience to watch Bruce in HD.

I heard that HD DVD will be mostly discontinued after either May '08 or '09. So they need to put AoD on Blu-Ray with Evil Dead and Evil Dead 2.
