I know fan films & tattoos are pretty popular for Evil Dead, but do any of you do other stuff? I've done a couple of drawings, really, not much else -- one of them is up on the main site here already (pg 3, second row from the bottom on the left) & here's a pretty scrappy one I did while watching AOD a couple of weeks ago...

whoever made the lego ash on the site is a genius, hahahaha. show me some stuff Cheesy

Well I have a strange idea for a Christmas/Evil Dead parody fan film (which would be made like a home movie)..... If I only get around to making it...

Awesome sketch Wink I dress up as him every con or costume party I attend, and have several sketches, none scanned - I'll work on that. A fan film would be love. Tattoo on the horizon, I just need to quit spending so much on toys and comic books.

Thats what I'm talking about flashheart! Girls + gore = love.

Oh that christmas ED fan-flick is a must. Take the tree-maulage from ED, add some lights and garland to the mixture - I smell videolicious glory.

Great work Flashheart!  I dig your cartoon interpretation of Ash and that you're not just copying the style of the recent AoD comics like so many others. Not that there's anything wrong with that. Wink

BoomstickChick that's a wicked costume and you wear it well.  I've always wanted to see someone make a short film where Ash is portrayed by woman instead of a man.  Ashley is more of a girls name after all.  Maybe Flashheart can turn it into a comic?

My dads called Ashley...best not tell him that..

As for fan stuff, my media film was an ED fan film , where some guys order teh book of the dead of amazon, translate it on babel fish and raise an army of zombies. the rest was just people running around with spades and guns.

hahaha tim that sounds awesome! Babelfish translation probably wouldn't do what it was meant to, though, instead of raising the dead it'd probably end up raising some bread or something XD

thanks evildeadite! I'm still trying different styles with it, when I do fanart I like to hammer down just one design and use it 'cos it's good practice, so I'll probably try some new things with the Ash design next time I get the chance to do something Cheesy

Girl Ash could be fun Cheesy I don't think I have time to do a comic (I'm in my final year at university D:), but I could sketch it!

ahahaha - babelfish, that sir (or mam?) - was a fantastic idea. Ash was known to fumble the lines - so perhaps a decent homage to his lack of official translation.

Yes! She-ash, thats what I'm talking about. When the rumors of ED4 were circulating way back when -  I was wicked ticked, I mean who would portray young ash? Nobody - and I mean nobody, has bruce's chin or range of expressions. It would of been blasphemy. But running with his ashley name - why not switch all the characters genders? Epic recreation. I'm down.

Flash heart - if you do, be sure to post it here. Im creating a DA account just to fav your stuff Wink

Now c'mon - I know more of you have done some fan related things. Cough 'em up.

Well I did do something during a snow one time... video didn't come out to well... I guess I could reshoot it since it might snow this weekend where I live...  But I must warn you, it is extremely stupid, but might get a laugh...
