I just wanna see what everyone has in their equipment bags, anyone have anything interesting?

Here's my list:

Video
- Canon HV20 (High Def 24p Cinemode Footage cannot be beat)
- 35mm DOF Adapter
- Velbon DV7000
- IndiRAILSpro20 Rig (flips and supports HV20 and DOF adapter)
- IndiMATTEpro (looks badass and allows me to use 4x4 filters such as the much needed ND filter)
- IndiFOCUSpro (all three from Indifocus.com)

- Xenarc 700tsn monitor (soon to be replaced by the IKAN 8000HD monitor)

Audio
- RODE NTG2 Shotgun Microphone (on a homemade boompole)
- JuicedLink CX211 (This is a Preamp/Mixer... I plug the shotgun mic into it and the juicedlink into my camera, it boosts the signal and helps clear out any fuzz or hissing, the best $200 I've spent)
- Hosa XLR to 1/8" Transformer (backup if the juicedlink blows up)
- Audio-Technica 50' XLR Cable
- Audio-Technica 25' XLR Cable
- RODE Deadcat (to reduce and wind noises)
- JVC Headband DJ/Monitoring Headphones

Lighting (All DIY stuff, no professional money wasting here, always building new things)
- 3x Clamp lights
    > 1 with 100w bulb
    > 1 with 60w bulb
    > 1 with 60w bulb
- 2x 16" Chinese Lanterns (with 100w CFL bulbs inside)
- Homemade FL bulb rig with reflective barn doors
- Homemade Bounce Pad
- 3 old cymbal stands (for clamp lights)
- Cheap Worklights (I use these to light backgrounds and other unimportant things in my shots

Key Grip Box (Yep... I have a Key Grip)
- Gaffer Tape (4 rolls of Black, 1 roll of each Red, Green, White, Yellow)
- Anti-glare spray (for getting rid of stubborn glare like chrome objects that are a pain to shoot)
- Handful of Black Sharpies (for writing on clap board, tagging cables with gaffer tape)
- Extra Extension Cords
- Pack of Lightbulbs (150w, 100w, 60w, 1 box of each Red, Blue, Orange [just in case])
- Lens Cleaning Kit
- Basic Tool Kit
- First Aid Kit (Always be prepared)
- Clapboard (It's a old one from work with an LED timer opposed to having to write out everything, usually they run at about $2000, but we got it for free Cheesy)
- Medium sized Green Screen (never know when you might need one)
- Etc (it's a big box we lug around)

Post-Production
- HP Laptop (Die Mac)  (Is being replaced by a custom made super computer Cheesy)
- Adobe Creative Suite 3 Production Suite(Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Soundbooth, Bridge, etc, etc, etc)
- Reason 4 (Used to make music)
- M-Audio 61es MIDI Keyboard (used to make music with Reason 4)
- Roland V-Drums (used to add percussions to music)
- 5.1 Altec Lansing Surround Sound Speakers (So I can hear!)

Oh believe me, no one needs that much... I just like having lots of goodies, for it makes me feel pro having bags and cases of equipment on the sets... of course loading, packing away and storing said equipment is a pain in the ass.

You should check out 35mm DOF adapters, there are few sights that you can find out how to make them and they basically screw onto your camera and allow you to focus on the foreground or background. I have a thread about em as well.

- Cakewalk (for music makin)

I use Cakewalk Sonar 6 Producers Edition, baby! Such a waste of cash if you ask me Tongue How is it treating you?

I just recently sold my Matthews M25 and picked up the Velbon 7000, it's a much better tripod for close to $100 less. It's not as heavy, but the head is a true fluid head, opposed to the M25 which is only trying to replicate fluid motion. for anyone who wants to upgrade from their cheap light video tripods or their photography tripods to something that'll get the job done right, I'd say go with Velbon 7000... it's really nice.

I'll post some footage with my equipment and perhaps some pics of it.

It was around $110 I think...

Here's some pictures of my new tripod with the Cavision rail support system, my new Hosa line transformer (I lost the old one  Angry ), some new XLR cable I picked up, and my RODE NTG 2 with the deadcat.

NTG2, the foam windblocker, the deadcat... all seperate.

NTG2 with foam windblocker... what could be next?

NTG2 with dead cat  Shocked

NTG2 in pouch with the new audio equipment (XLR cable, transformer... that's it, the headphones were on my head listening to Soundgarden)

My Velbon 7000, Cavision Support Rails and the HV20 with 35mm Adapter and HOSA UV Filter

Close-up of the HV20 (notice the scotch tape to remind me never to take off that latch)

Man, the Velbon is amazing... I'm used to cheap crappy tripods, and for the price I thought this was going to be like it..

Holy crap was I wrong! I loosened the wrong nob today trying to practice making smooth pans from right to left, but I actually loosened the tilting knob (for aiming up and down) and I sat their for a second and realized the camera was slowly tilting by itself in such a smooth way... I played back the footage and was amazed that just from the incongruencies in the weight caused by the rail support that the tripod doesn't need you to hold back the weight and move the camera...

Such a great investment. I once used a tripod that cost somewhere in the ballpark of $10,000 and this one has some of the same features as it, obviously the one that was $10,000 was a tiny bit nicer, but still Tongue

It was... I just recently took my equipment to my studio and then went to where I work and picked up the super fancy tripod and bought back and started doing a comparison. The velbon is incredible for the price...
