Well, looks like Michael Bay has taken on the task of writing the script himself. Two reasons, one because of the strike and because he wants to keep it a Summer 2009 release.
Also, still no dinobots this time around.

I may not be the biggest TF fan although I loved the cartoon and toys growing up. Still I feel Dinobots would.. I dunno... suck really badly. Or maybe I'm just confusing them with Zoids.

I'm going with Joda on this. Bay has his flaws but... actually he doesn't!
He consistently make great films. Everyone calls his films braindead but never see that for all the stylish effects and explosions all his films are about individuals. Look at Armageddon - a film everyone remembers for it's amazing set pieces and dynamic action but at it's core a movie about father and daughter.
All hail Michael Bay!

I wonder if Hot Rod/Rodimus Prime will make an appearence and if he does hopefully he wont piss on someone like certain other Autobots! Thanks Bay....

I actually enjoy his films. They may not be the best films, but they are really entertaining (isn't that what movies are all about?) Anyways, I figure we will just see Starscream leading the decepticons, with new additions, getting revenge on the autobots, with new additions.. |

Transformers 2: The Reign Of Starscream
I doubt Transformers 2 will get a subtitle. If it gets one, then the #2 will probably get dropped, but doubtful. |
