I decided to check on the AOD comics Dynamite Entertainment is pumping out and see they now have:

AOD: The Long Road Home - http://www.dynamiteentertainment.com/htmlfiles/c-Army_of_Darkness_Long_Road_Home.html

AOD: Xena Why Not - http://www.dynamiteentertainment.com/htmlfiles/c-Army_of_Darkness_Xena_Why_Not.html

Anyone know what happened to 1-4 of the Long Road Home?  Is it a continuation of another AOD series?

I seriously cannot wait for the Xena one. Being the big Xena geek I've been turning into latley.  Should we place bets on who Ash starts hitting on first?  Tongue
Eeeeh I've read the first part of "The Long Journey Home" and I 'm already wanting to punch Sheila in the face once again..Of all women, What does Ash see in her? ¬ ¬

Oh joy, a Xena cross over. I'm a fan of the show thanks to Bruce's roll as Autolycus, Josh Becker directing an episode each year, and Ted even though everyone hated Joxer there for a while. But I wonder how they explain the likeness between Autolycus and Ash and how it plays out. I guess I'll have to find out, huh.

Now the Xena one is pure genius. Honestly, Ash can be put into almost any universe. AvP??(Ash vs Predator)

ash vs the predator would actually be really badass, in fact its so badass it cant even be called badass, we need to think of a more badass word to describe that

I like how the full title is AOD meets Xena: WHY NOT?

Although I rant about those bastards at DDP and there shameless rape of what could be a kickass franchise I admit it takes balls to add a tagline that already answers my complaint.

Well...played...DDP (clap clap clap)

I don't know why But I seriously hope there's some sort of conversation between Joxer and Ash. Joxer = ALL SORTS OF ABUSE IN STEREO XD.

Ooooh I want the Xena/AoD crossover nooooow.

Joxer and Ash, huh. I somehow doubt Joxer would be involved but who knows. Maybe it would be something like this scene from the episode "King of Assassins" only in reverse. Btw, the pic below is actually Jett Joxer's evil twin but it works for the visual. Although the quality of the screen cap is God awful to say the least.

Auty : "Wait how am I supposed to know if you're REALLY Joxer?"
Joxer : "I'm hanging by my underwear."
Auty : "...Ah..."

XD I do so love watching my Xena DVD's.

Issue 1-4 was From The Ashes which sort of continues on from Marvel Zombies Vs Army Of Darkness The Long Road Home is from issue 5
