Within The Woods/Raimi Shorts DVD Covers

I though I'd post these DVD Covers I designed myself just incased anyone else
is interested.

The first one is a DVD cover for my copy of WTW, with the design based around
super8 film stock, and the back image being the reverse of the front like a see through
film cell. It's all fairly obvious, you have a blood spatter on the front which you can
see through from the back, and 8mm film leader used as the spine. Just incase anyone
doesn't know, 'Heads' can be written on the leader at the start of a piece of film,
and 'Tails' at the other end (sometimes both along with the films title), This is done
so you can easily tell in which direction the film is wound on its reel.

I've also done a cover for a 'Sam Raimi Super 8 Short Films' DVD I've put
together for myself. Its based on the 'It's Murder' poster scanned from the
'Evil Dead Companion' book (shown below the DVD cover), but I've modified
alot of the text keeping the same typeface as the original by re-arranging
the letters there were already there and chopping-up/editing those letters
to make new letters that I didn't have. The contents list is based on the
material I have and that is a 2 DVD disc set.

I have the 'book of the dead' trailer on DVD, You see some scenes that are much longer in the
trailer compared to the edited down film, the cheryl cabin/key/door sequence is shown and is a
good bit longer and the shot at near the start of the film with the smoke/light coming out of
leaves as the tape is being played inside the cabin runs much longer too. the music is all temp
mix and is taken from the scores of 'death wish' & 'invasion of the body snatchers' like within
the woods. and the voice over is different from the professors in the proper trailer. the book
of the dead title card shown is in the same font/colour as the within the woods titles. the
whole thing is 3mins 37secs long.

I dont have evil dead with its original 'book of the dead' title, although (someone correct me if
i'm wrong) i'm sure i remember reading that the greek version has that original title?
