Hello all, its Alan from the Uk calling, i`m making a Horror Mod, for mongoose Evo battlefield Game, the rules are really nice, and i have got all the zombie info and stats i need, but now wish to add stuff from evil dead etc..

My questions...

1. How many Demons appear in Evil dead, when the Book is spoken for the kids...?

2. I believe the demons, have no form until they possess a object, like a clock, or a human being, and can jump from one to the other when they wish...

3. When a demon  that has possessed a human attacks another human and wounds them, what happens..?
In the film, one of the possessed girls, sticks a pencil ito somebodys ankle, and they turn into a deadlite..?
Is this correct...
Does a wound from a demon possessed person, turn others in deadlites..?

4. What are deadites, another name for living dead..? in the end of the second film, the flying creature was that a new type of deadite, made of of bits and bobs of flesh..?

As you know if one demon is in the first film only, that means the rest are infected and are deadites..?

I look forward to you thoughts and knowledge on this ....

Once i know i can start adding them to my game system...

Cheers all

1. How many Demons appear in Evil dead, when the Book is spoken for the kids...?
-None appear right away, its one collective mind known as the Evil Dead, it splits off and creates a new evil creature when it takes over a person.

2. I believe the demons, have no form until they possess a object, like a clock, or a human being, and can jump from one to the other when they wish...
-The Evil Dead cannot possess someone unless they force the person to lose their minds, unless they are knocked out, or dead. Basically, if they can mind-f*@k you, knock you out, or kill you, your a deadite.

3. When a demon  that has possessed a human attacks another human and wounds them, what happens..?
-It depends.

In the film, one of the possessed girls, sticks a pencil ito somebodys ankle, and they turn into a deadlite..?
Is this correct...
-Yes, but that wasnt until later in the movie and it had nothing DIRECTLY to do with the pencil, she got stabbed in the achilles tendon and she went into shock and passed out, thus giving the Evil Dead the opening it needed to take her over.

Does a wound from a demon possessed person, turn others in deadlites..?
-No, they arent zombies, that only happens if the demons are able to get into your mind.

4. What are deadites, another name for living dead..? in the end of the second film, the flying creature was that a new type of deadite, made of of bits and bobs of flesh..?
-Deadites are basically any creature connected to the will of the Evil Dead, which is the name of the dark spirit tied to the Necronomicon. Any creature that is summoned by or spawned by the book is a deadite.

5. As you know if one demon is in the first film only, that means the rest are infected and are deadites..?
-Not sure I understand properly, but I'll give it a shot... As I said, the demons need to get inside your head in order to possess you, the easiest way is to knock you unconscious, thust making you not have any mental defenses. Another way is making you go insane, which they attempted to do to Ash throughout all of the first and second movies, then there is simply killing the host and bringing the corpse back to life. The last ones however have no powers (IE: The skeletons in Army of Darkness).

Many thanks for being the first to reply to me, love the films etc, but just wanted more details...

1.So when the book is spoken etc, the EVIL comes, which is like a big blob of evil that takes over the weak minded, or a dead or sleeping person, then they turn into a Deadlite, the rest of the Evil blob, then go`s off to seek more to infect...

So if a complete town turned into Deadlites, you can kill them all, BUt the Evil Demon blob will be still floating arounf trying to build a new army up, the only way to remove that Evil is a spell etc to send it back...?

Question, when you kill a deadlite ( possessed person ) does the demon part leave the body to seek another one..?

I will need to watch both films i have and make notes.....

Tabletop Game Rules  ?

I`m using mongoose Evo rules with my own mods to start with, but looking into my own evil dead game system...

So the Evil force will need to attack and kill or knock you out to take you over 100%, or a failed attack would be a test based on your own state of mind...

Cheers all

-Yeah pretty much. The Evil Dead feed off of human souls, the more people they take over, the stronger it becomes, thats why it couldnt withstand the sunlight when it posessed Ash, because he was too strong mentally, so the sunlight kicked it out of him. This attempt left Ash stronger and thats why he was able to fight it off later when he nearly killed Annie.

-You can kill them all day and night, but as long as the main spirit is still running loose, it can posess more people, the only way to stop it is to seal it back up inside the book of the dead.

3. When you kill a deadlite ( possessed person ) does the demon part leave the body to seek another one..?

-No, when you kill a deadite (and I mean REALLY kill it, chop it up, bury it, etc.) that single being is dead. The main spirit isnt affected by this at all though, it will just move onto the next person.
