This is a really hard Evil Dead quiz. All the questions relate to the first film only.
All the answers can be found in the various books, magazines, commentaries
& the film itself. Since the exact answers are out there, I'm being very strict.
So no guessing! If anyone gets them all right I'll do an ED2 quiz.
1] During the last shot of Evil Dead you see a barn to the rear of the cabin. pieces
of wood taken from that barn and were used to make something for the cabin during
the renovation work, what was it?
2] What was the make & model of the chainsaw used in the movie?
3] The tape recorder use in the movie was a Panasonic Solid-State RQ-706S, but
in real life, who did it belong to?
4] In the vas-o-cam tracking shot where linda's body is being dragged out of the
cabin, you see a beer can on the floor, what brand is it?
5] During the renovation of the cabin, the interior trim around the doors & windows
was painted twice, the final colour was brown, what was the first colour?
6] During shooting, the production had a big thanksgiving meal. At who's house was
this?
7] "Saran wrap to cover a styrofoam cup, with fishing line attached to a construction
staple, using a rubber band and string" is a direct quote describing something
designed & made for Evil Dead by Bart Pierce. What was it?
8] While shooting on post production at Sam Raimi's parents house, Mongomery their
family bulldog carried something off giving a shock to a passer by. What was it?
9] The team buried a time capsule under the cabin containing; a spent shotgun shell,
a sample of fake blood and a hand-written 'visual Code' to the film. What sort of
container were all these items put into?
10] For the sequence where Ash shoots cheryl outside of the cabin window, a dressed
mannequin was used with blood bags attached & they simply shot it with a real
shotgun. Scott Spiegel provided something additional to be used in this effect. What
was it?

1. The second front door.
3. Rob Tapert.
5. Grey.
6. The family they were staying with in town.
8. The dagger.
10. The visible blood tube.

No, thats when Ash shoots Cheryl through the hole on the front door. This
is when she pops up at the window next to him slightly earlier in the film.
