Whoot! I just ordered new swag from B&H

I got myself a new shockmount for my shotgun mic, back-up rubber bands for the shockmount, a lens hood, a lens cleaning kit to keep all my filters, lenses and what not in good working condition... and last but not least...
A polarizing filter (which was like $80... jesus) and a color correction filter (it's specifically 80a) which reduces the amount of red, which is great for getting rid of that redness when using tungsten lighting such as incadescent. The 80 series of filters basically convert tungsten lighting into something that looks like daylight. My DIY lighting kit consists of these kind of bulbs thus this filter helps me out and saves me the trouble of doing it in post.
Of course, you don't need this filter if you want to do it in post, but I really want to experiment with combining the polarizing filter with the 80 series filter and shoot outdoor scenes with clear sky, because the filter reduces redness and enhances blues... I want to see what happens

Next on my list is a preamp mixer for my shotgun mic and then an external monitor
