Well, according to Bruce Campbell News Central, the writer of the flick said the final cut is about to lock and that it hopefully will be out in early 2008.

Hope they will release it in Germany... As you perhaps know, Germany (and Switzerland, where I actually live) aren't very "Evil Dead"-friendly countrys (hey, Evil Dead 1 was forbidden for more than 20 years), but I really hope that they will release it. If not, I'll import it.
But I also ask where that flick is... On BC's homepage, the release date is "fall 2007" and it's now winter... I hope they will do an update as soon as possible.

A friend emailed me after I sent him the trailer, and said Bruce just did an interview - and it WILL be in theaters, not just straight to dvd. Trying to find this article, I'll link it when I do.
