I am looking to buy or make a shotgun for an Ash costume. Any ideas on were to get a fairly cheap replica or does anyone know of any sites with a how-to?

you could try E-BAY or yor local pawnshop maybe a wal mart toy one with the barrel hacked off remington twelve gauge

If you don't have alot of money, there are several "double barrel" shotgun toys online and at toy stores.  Usually in the western themed asle of guns.

But if you are really into getting an accurate shotgun, you have to buy the real thing.

Nope, Bruce is WRONG...it is not a remington.  It's a Stoeger Coach Gun.



They run about $400 dollars brand new.  I paid about $350 for mine.

Here is what I did for my Boomstick.  I bought a real stoeger shotgun, but only bought the stock, receiver, and fore end grip (no barrels).  I then got some PVC pipe and glued them to the real shotgun after painting the barrels black.



I then cut the barrels down to size (do note that if you did this with a real gun's barrels, it would be against the law).

And thus, my finished boomstick...ta da!
