This was some artwork I did quite a while back and posted before the old
deadites forum went down, I came across it recently and thought I'd re-post
it. I also found some other bit & pieces so I'll re-post things as & when. You
can download a high-res version of each picture from the links underneath.

This is an artwork only front cover plate of the Palace Pictures 1990 re-release
of The Evil Dead

I had to buy the original video to get this, couldn't find a decent quality
version anywhere on the web. I wanted it to display in a big photo frame
with some other signed ED stuff.

Scanned in Photoshop CS, i cleaned up the spine creases and removed
all the lettering leaving only the artwork.

In case anyone is interested it looks like AB did the same thing i have done
for their box set. seems strange that they couldn't get the original art, but
if you compare the VHS & DVD covers you can see they've taken the lettering
out.

This is another project i've finished working on, its a composite of 2 pages
from 'The Evil Dead (Book Of The Dead Limited Edition)' and the signatures
of Bruce Campell, Rob Tapert & Sam Raimi taken from a 200 limited edition
signed copy of 'The Evil Dead Companion'

I always loved the original art created for the UK releases of the Evil Dead and the cleaned version is great, I remember seeing the original painting they used for that art for sale on ebay way back.
