Did anyone play this? It took place on a prison ship, I think... or in a prison... or maybe in Colorado... I can't remember. Anywhoo, you played as Seth Gecko who has been captured, but then like the ship is overrun by vampires. It was intense. Did anyone else play this?

Oooh, that's an old one! I happen to work for the publisher of that title, it wasn't very good.

However, you are right. Seth Gecko was put on a prison ship for hardened criminals. And I believe a vampire is taken there too. Then a bunch of vampires turn up to free their buddy and hilarity ensues. Honestly? I have been unable to play the game on any computer I've had without severe glitching. But it looked horrid from what I did play. I wish they'd just have left FDTD alone... No dodgy sequel, no dodgy prequel and NO lame video game.

Spiegel's shots are a lamer version of Raimi's work but as they are friends I wonder who did it first. It always seems like SS is trying to capture ED2 in his work so he can get more credit, at least that's how it seems to me. Although if Bruce had been the lead I would own that film. It would have been elevated from clag to "Meh, Bruce makes some crap films at times."

I also think Spiegel isn't a good director but I really want to see Intruder (which also has Bruce Campbell) because Quentin Tarantino & Eli Roth both liked it and said it was good.

Intruder is great. Danny Hicks from ED2 is also in it. I first saw it when I was still a kid and one POINT always stuck IN MY HEAD. I once met a girl who mentioned the film and we both blurted out the same bit. I hadn't seen it for years but bought it recently on dvd. It still holds up well. Spiegel did a good job on it and it's way better than anything Eli Roth has done.

I'll admit I'm not a fan of his work, but he does at least attempt at some visually interesting shots... some directors just shoot what needs to be shot with little thought put in the set-up. However, Spiegel's visually interesting shots are kinda crappy. For instance in From Dusk Till Dawn 2 he does two different P.O.V. shots from inanimate objects. An oscilating fan (thus the camera moved left and right in a very annoying way) and a vault handle thingy (the camera spins around a bunch)... both, although interesting, were annoying. I'll give him credit though, he's trying. And Eli Roth blows.
