Ugh.. That is only ugly site! The web designer "Scarab Media" seems to be local to Bruce so perhaps he was doing them a favour?

I dont know whats going on with Bruce and his agent these days but the latest photos of him with fans are very inpersonnel, Bruce used to pose properly with the fans now it seems the photos are taken from the side when you are getting your things signed.

I was able to meet him back in 2005. They would only allow pictures standing from the side. |

Yeah, the last decent picture I had with Bruce was in 2002 for the second "Chins" book tour. He had a little chair next to him so fans could sit beside him and pick his brain while he signed stuff. That has been my best memory of meeting & chatting with Bruce to date. It's the best photo I have w/ Bruce, I just wish it hadn't been taken on a crappy 1 megapixel camera, lol.
Anyway, back on topic... that site still stinks!

Nice intro, but I don't think it's such a good idea that it continues to repeat. Kind of defeats the point of an intro. Been a while since I've visited this site by the way. (Deadites.net I mean.) Nice to see it's still alive and kicking. Or undead and kicking. Whatever.  |

Yeah, Bruce's old site was better but at least there is something new to look at unlike Ted and his damn "Astro Lounge". At any rate let me be the first to welcome back Mardeadite because for some reason you name sounds familiar to me. First off did you used to come to this site years ago, and if so is that the name you used before... Or have I simply just lost my mind??

Yeah, I definitely liked the old site better. This new design is a mess. I never got to meet Bruce before the whole "taking your picture from the side while he's signing your crap" thing started. I understand why they made the change, to speed things up. However, it just makes it feel so impersonal and leads to horrible pictures.  If it wasn't for his chin jutting out you couldn't even tell that was Bruce. And I'm sure someone who is only slightly familiar with Bruce and his work wouldn't even be able to recognize him. The picture taker really could have chosen a better angle. |
