Dec. 18th, 2007 = great day for dvds

Ok, some of you may agree or disagree but I believe this was a great day of dvd releases...

1. The Simpsons Movie: I am now to the point where I prefer Family Guy over Simpsons, but this movie was great. Brought some more adult themes into the series.

2. Halloween: I am not rying to refuel the debate we had awhile ago, but the 2 disc unrated directors cut is amazing. The alternate ending which was on the workprint copy is good, but I still prefer the theater ending.

3. The Evil Dead(Ultimate Edition): I really don't even have to say anything here...

4. Blade Runner(uber 5 disc edition with briefcase): One of my favorite sci-fi films of all times. I think Evil Dead still has this movie beat on video/dvd releases though...

The Blade Runner set is amazing, its been out in the UK since the 3rd of December, the Final Cut really is the best cut of the movie and they have finally included the extended version of Tyrell being killed by Roy, the scene is even longer than the workprint version.
