I really enjoyed it.
And yes, Ledger was amazing and it's incredibly sad that he had to die after giving such a promising performance.
SPOILER!!!!!! (we really need to be given permission to use spoiler tags, Kain)
Do you think Two-Face died? Personally, I think Nolan purposefully left it ambiguous. I've heard that he's not happy with WB and that this may influence whether or not he does another movie. However, if he does I think he wants to know he can still use Harvey Two-Face if he feels the need to. If he had killed him for sure, even if he comes up with an interesting story for him in three, he can't use him. Leaving his death/survival open allows him to do whatever. It also allows him to say,"Two-Face is dead." if he quits and doesn't want anyone screwing around with the Dent character arc.
I'm sort of fine with him remaining dead myself. Given how they set him up, they concluded is arc with some satisfaction. However, I feel like they can take him further. He was angry about the way things worked in Gotham and he sort served to counter Batman's no kill vigilante style. Two-Face took vigilante to the extreme. And now that Batman has had murders pinned to him, I think they could continue that in three. Two-Face killing people, with the murders still being pinned to Baman. We'll see I guess.
I may be looking into it too deeply though.
