Thought we needed a thread for non-Evil Dead figures and I found a great figure to kick it off...

All I can say is WOW!

He comes with the tape player and headphones and the bucket of flesh that Dr. Frankenstein brought him for his reward.

Dr. Tounge is on his way as well!

That Re-animator is pretty sweet.

I'm not a big fan of the series for some reason.  I thought the first one was ok.  It was definitely over the top.  The "head-givin'-head" scene was one for the ages.

I own a ton of figures but I've never bought any of the "Now Playing" figures.  I remember there being a few I wanted-can't remember who- but never ended up picking them up for some reason.  They always seemed cheap looking.

How's the quality of the figs?

I picked up this Hostel figure at Hot Topic the other day.  It's an import and the regular price was like $30!  It was on sale for $6.99 so I had to get it.  He's got alternate arms and a chainsaw as well.

Today I went to Toys 'r' us and was happy/pissed to see that the Kingdom of the Crystall Skull figures were out already.  All they had of the 6 inch line was a few Mutt figures.  I did happen to snag one of these 12' Indy figs!

I can't wait to pick up all the other cool Indy figs.

I always pick up a toy magazine when I go to Barnes and Noble.  I think it's called Toy Fair or something.  It's always got cool previews of coming figures.  It had a preview of the new Cult Classics series 7 figures.  I thought it's a so-so line up.

My faves...

From the "Hall of Fame" line up

Regular line up

Others include Stuntman Mike from Grindhouse, Bettlejuice and the red-head kid with braces from Christmas Story.

That Machete rocks!  I'm so glad they're actually making the movie.

I'll be posting pics of my collection soon.
