Sup, anyway I found something about ED4 on the net and it "disturbed " me to the point i needed to find out if it had any merit, so i figured where else better to ask, if anybodys going to know it be you guys, it may be old new and bullshit and hopefully so. here it is. Just caught this little tidbit of info on the ever reliable bastion of information, Teletext UK, but if it has come from the mouth of none other than Messiah Campbell then I don’t think you can get more reliable then this. Sorry to break your hearts all you die hard ‘Deadites’ (is that the right term?) but it seems that The Evil Dead 4 and the continued adventures of Ash as you know and love him presently are not to be. According to Bruce Campbell, none other than Ash himself:

First off, Bruce has been saying "no" about the possibility of ED4 for yeeeaaars. Sam is really the only one who has been stringing the fans along with his "would like to make it someday" bullshit. This "news" is not even that new since Bruce mentions Sam and The Hobbit which he hasn't been connected to for a little while now.
Spidey 3 sucked, Ellen Page cancelled out on Sam's new horror film, and Jon Favreau is Hollywoods new superhero film golden boy. I wouldn't count ED4 out just yet folks...

I see this more as Bruce just telling everyone to not get excited. I am sure they all want to, but everyone has a price and Sam is getting paid that price to do big movies (good for him, he is an amazing filmmaker).
