Sounds great! Sam has recently had the discussion with Bruce about ED IV. Apparently they "have already discussed the new movie at length and have a basic idea of where to take Ash." Also, Bruce mentions that they will be making fun of Bruce's age in the film which is fine as long as it doesn't get in the way of Ash still being a badass. Which, wouldn't surprise me or bother me if his badass-ness dropped a little bit due to "The Evolution of Ash" theory. Also, unlike previous '80s movie icons that have returned to the big screen recently, there will be no sidekick! Thank you God! Hopefully this means we can see Evil Dead IV in theaters within the next few years!
This isn't a guarantee that Evil Dead IV will happen. Hopefully it will. This is the second bit of Evil Dead IV news we've had recently from the guys so maybe production will start soon. Hopefully, Sam doesn't get this whacky idea that Evil Dead IV should be PG-13. I would guess not because Bruce said it's about pleasing the fans and not the studio. Then again the studio wants what the studio gets! Thus we call Evil Dead 3, "Army of Darkness".
