The Evil Dead, on rottentomatoes.com, was raved as a wonderful movie. After renting this crap, all I can say is, if it was supposed to be a horror...it sucked, if it was supposed to be a comedy...it sucked. The movie is incredibly lame, comedy or horror, I may have laughed but even if the attempts were to make it more of a comedy, I thought...well that it was dumb to try to also make it a horror...just pick a genre!! Also, even if it was intended for laughs, the movie is incredibly disgusting...a tree rapes a girl??? That's GROSS! The special effects and visuals and makeup aren't "imaginable" like some may claim...they are just cheap and gross. This movie was a waste of time!!

This film makes George A. Romeos ones look like a masterpiece. Unrealistic and futile waste of a film, not only did it have an amazingly thin plot which made no sense, but the characters where poorly scripted, the scenes had an extremely low Novelty value, and the Actors where abysmal in their roles.

Talentless and easily forgotten. The way the film was made and put together shows the writers had no real idea what they were suppose to creating, and the Driecting was some of the worse ever published. How this film scored 7.8/10 is beyond my compression, while good films like Scary Movie 2 get a 4.4/10. My advice, i strongly suggest you don't watch this one, and find another Zombie Flick, its not worth a second of anyones time.

One word sum's this up--HORRIBLE. This isn't for rent or to own. All I recommend this movie for is if you've been feeling down and your in need of a good laugh. Half the laughs are from the fact that it looks like there trying for something amazing.

A plot for a movie that could have been really good, is wasted on this garbage. The Acting is weak, the special effects are inexcusably bad(look at Terminator 2, 1991, Army of Darkness, 1993, am I getting my point across?) Some how ash is so amazing with Swords, how could he be that great if he's from the present? He makes himself a robotic hand, a RO-FREAKIN-BOTIC HAND! Which we still havent fully acomplished now, how could he have made it in a time when they haven't even discovered the uses of electricity. The monsters are worse then the ones in House. He makes EXPLOSIVES! In that time which this takes place, they haven't even invented gun-powder! I could go on and on about how bad this movie is but I only have 1000 words.

How this got 7.2, I don't know and I don't understand...

What i think is blindinly obvious is that these people...DONT HAVE A FRICKING CLUE about how Brilliant these films are, or why they are such Cult hits..still I Like laughing at retards on IMDB
