Just to make this one interesting (and rather than everyone just saying the ED trilogy)
this is your top 10 movies not including any of the Evil Dead series. This is mine, some
horror but mostly 70's movies, I haven't liked anything more recent than any of these
10 films.

 1] Night Of The Living Dead (1968)
 2] The Parallax View (1974)
 3] Dawn Of The Dead (1978)
 4] The Taking Of Pelham One Two Three (1974)
 5] The Thing (1982)
 6] The Offence (1972)
 7] All The Presidents Men (1976)
 8] The French Connection (1971)
 9] Zombie Flesh Eaters (1979)
10] The Medusa Touch (1978)

i can only think of four movies out of the tons i've seen that stand out atm, i'll have to go through my library and look, but here are the top 4 so far

the godfather
the thing
up in smoke
life of brian

(also i am trying to decide which star trek movie is the best, they are all so good)

i include teh trilogys as one film as u cant really split them up i dont think.
