hat can be said about this little gem? Made in 1982, written by Richard Leinfellner and published by Palace Software (Palace Pictures holding the UK rights for the movie at the time). Developed for the Commodore64 (C64) games console, it is a one player strategy (?) game set in and around (and when I say around I mean literally: the porch, backyard only!) .

Developed at a time when home video gaming was fastly developing (this was a home video game only) the game throws you into the middle of the movie. You are Ash and you have to stop the evil-force by collecting the pages of the Book of the Dead and destroying them before the 'evil' takes you. You can collect weapons such as shovels, shotguns and axes: you even get pursued by dismembered body parts! My favourite part is when the possessed Cheryl chases you around (shes green and her littel legs scurry back and forth; 80s magic!)

Largely dismissed upon release this release has a new life thanks to C64 PC emulators and the wonderful birth of the Internet.
