- Evil Dead C64: 1982

Back in 2000 THQ's first game under the Evil Dead license was finally released unto the world with varied (but mostly positive) results.

The game was developed under the title of 'Evil Dead: Ashes 2 Ashes' and didn't under go a name change until the latter stages of 1999. Developed by Heavy Iron Studios for THQ the game came with a wave of anticipation in 2000. This section is more of a retrospective look back and features the tidbits (very British word there) of info I collected at the time. Below are some concept art used in the early stages of development. Have a click for a bigger view. Enjoy.

So to kick off this retrospective section there's a little sample of the interviews given by both BRUCE CAMPBELL and THQ Developer SCOTT KRAGER for the Australia and UK release of the game. Click link at left hand side of this page to check it out!!!
